The character of Souma-Yaki pottery
The blue cracks on the surface is a symbol of Souma-Yaki pottery.
Because "Ma" in "Souma" means "a horse", calligraphic horses are printed as another symbol.
A very rare character is its multi-layer structure.
It is hard for the heat of hot liquid (tea, Sake) to transmit to the exterior surface, so not only can you hold the cups without feeling hot, but also it is difficult for hot liquid to get cold.
